Sarah began the process of setting up Brierley Therapies in 2013 after graduating with a degree from the Northern College of Acupuncture (NCA) York.

NCA is a specialist training college that focuses on the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners through practical and academic work.

For the last 15 years Sarah worked as a Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham. Sarah completed her BSc(Hons) and Master degree in Biomedical Science at Nottingham Trent University.

Having worked in Western medicine and Chinese medicine Sarah has gained perspective into both sides of a patients care.

At Easter 2016 Sarah left QMC to concentrate on her acupuncture practice. The majority of the time Sarah works from her clinic in Jacksdale, Nottinghamshire but also works in Beeston, Nottingham.

Sarah and her colleague, Anne Etherton are joining forces. This will enable them to offer more appointments in Beeston at PhysioDirect.

Anne is there Wednesdays and Sarah is there Friday afternoons. Contact us directly for appointments.

Contact Sarah for Friday appointments or Anne for Wednesday appointments.

Anne is also a herbalist if you looking to add that to your treatments.

Sarah was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2011 so has first hand experience of dealing with a chronic condition and how acupuncture can benefit your health.
